Mark Majeski began his career in athletics administration in 1991 and spent the next 20 years at three NCAA Division III institutions. Majeski Athletic Consulting emerged in 2011 to address increasing needs among small college athletics programs, and the ever-expanding demands placed on athletic directors. A hallmark of Majeski’s leadership and management style is logical, practical and outcomes-based process that leads to increased understanding, efficiency and effectiveness.

Majeski served five years on the NCAA Division III Membership Committee, including as Chair from 2008-10, and served as a member of the NCAA's task force on future Division III membership growth issues. Additionally, he served five years as the Chair of the West Region Men’s Tennis Committee.

Majeski led Willamette University through a decade of significant growth and change from 2000 - 2011. The Bearcats were new to NCAA membership after transitioning from the NAIA when he arrived. He led a campus-wide strategic planning effort, which significantly raised the level of awareness, engagement and support on campus among administrators, faculty, staff and students. He developed departmental policies and procedures for game management, budgeting, compliance, fundraising and performance evaluation. Majeski implemented wide-ranging programs that served the Bearcats' 20 teams and nearly 500 student-athletes, including the GAME PLAN program to assist freshmen in the transition to the expectations and demands for college student-athletes.

Willamette’s budget grew by 60 percent, enhancing operating budgets and expanding staff while increasing revenue by more than 250 percent. Annual giving more than doubled through the Bearcat Club and the number of donors grew by more than 250 percent. Several facilities were upgraded, including turf fields, lights and scoreboards.
